Anomaly school testimonials outline digital success! Recently we’ve received an overwhelming about of support. In this blog post, read some Anomaly school testimonials which talk about their experience using Anomaly products. The first testimonial comes from the Armthorpe Shaw Wood Academy in Doncaster who have been experiencing one of our newer products. Take a look:
I am the ICT coordinator from Shaw Wood Academy. In Year 6 we have used the Anomaly film equipment twice this week, with the children setting everything up, not me – it takes less than 10 minutes easily. We actually had it set up on Monday afternoon after a script writing session in the morning. During the morning session, we had DfE in and they actually said that as they couldn’t find fault with the lesson (honestly),  they didn’t need to see see the Class Act session. They  were really able to see the energy of the children because the whole class wanted to be ready for the recording session. Also, I think that it shows my confidence in the equipment and purpose of the resources that I was willing to use it during a DfE visit and I was honestly gutted that they couldn’t stick around to see it. –  Patrick Carroll
The second school, the Millennium Primary School had this to say about the new Anomaly film kit:
This creative curriculum approach has made a huge impact on the way children learn in our school.  They are excited about the topics and are able to develop a wide range of skills that they will then be able to carry with them throughout their lives. – Millennium Primary School website
We strive for results. That’s why, we put the user at the heart of our strategy. Employing young school leavers ensures that we deliver the best possible results. “What is it like to work for Anomaly?” Is a question we always hear at Anomaly. In this blog post we’re going to be looking at a day in the life on an Anomaly employee. Jamie McVeigh is part of our business development team and has given us an insight to a typical day at Anomaly and what people could expect if they were to work for Anomaly. Describe your role at Anomaly “My role at Anomaly is to reach out to new schools and other businesses to give them the opportunity to experience our product. I work with a team of five who all work together to establish new connections with talented schools interested in Anomaly products.” What is a typical day in the office? “A typical day in the office would start off with a brew and some breakfast. The first quarter of the day starts at 8:00, this is usually the best time to catch schools and headteachers as they are normally not too busy. Throughout the morning I continue to reach out to schools to inform them all about our products. The next half of the day is usually quite challenging as this tends to be the busiest part of the day.” What were you doing before you started working at Anomaly? “I was working as a sales executive team leader for a company in Manchester.” What’s the best thing about working for Anomaly? “Everybody is treated equally whether that is salary or just general respect in the office. I especially appreciate the relationship between management and apprentices. Apart from company status there is nothing that separates one person from the other. Everybody acts in a professional manner and gets on with the job at hand. I also enjoy the relaxing working environment.” Sound interesting?
