Anomaly Content Manager – What’s new in June?

This monthly feature focuses on all the new things you can expect this month on the Anomaly Content Manager and our other products. Anomaly Content Manager is a tailored platform designed for schools to get the most out of their Anomaly screens.

This June, we’ve focused on some really up to date and often difficult subjects to discuss on the secondary channel. On the primary channel, we’ve got some great new pieces to get pupils moving in the playground and making the most of the glorious summer weather! Here is a little more about some of the new videos:

Primary Channel

Now that the SATs are over, we thought we’d create some more of our fun interactive games Monster Moves and Curious Manor! All these videos are now available as portrait versions too, which can be accessed via Quizical.

We’ve also teamed up with RockSteady Music School again to produce a video together about teamwork. As The World Cup kicks off this month, a tournament full of teams working effectively together to play football, we thought this video would provide some good tips about working well together as a team and coming up with something great! This video wouldn’t have been possible without teamwork – we put our own advice into practice!

Secondary Channel

We’ve recognised that the secondary library of content could do with some more up to date and difficult subject matters among the videos already available. That’s why this month we’ve been focusing on how much social media can dominate teens lives and we’ve created some appropriate videos of the more recent dangers of social media, such as catfishing and grooming. Although e-safety is important, we also wanted to make new content that addressed the mental health side effects of social media and how it can affect your self-worth and confidence – these are looked at in ‘FOMO’ and ‘body image’.

Our What’s On guides for the Primary channel are available on your content library, for you to download and take a look at if you want to know what’s on this month! Just search ‘whatson’ or ‘guide’ to find them. You can download the guides here too:

In addition to pre-existing content we have on our screens, schools can also request new content to meet their needs; please don’t hesitate to contact us if there’s something you would like to see!
