Anomaly Content Manager – What’s on this February?

What’s on this February? Find out in this monthly feature which focuses on all the things you can expect this month on the Anomaly Content Manager. Anomaly Content Manager is a tailored platform designed for schools to get the most out of their Anomaly screens. In this blog post, find out what will be displayed on our screens both in Primary and Secondary schools throughout February, as we focus on all things computing!

Safer Internet Day 2018

This month it’s Safer Internet Day, which is something we have supported for the last few years. We are always proud to be supporters of this fantastic day to raise awareness about e-safety and staying safe online, and highlight how the internet can be used positively too. We’ve got the brand new videos from SID TV playing on the channel this month and available all year. There’s everything from KS1 all the way up to a video for parents tackling ‘digital parenting’.

Think before you speak

Safer Internet Day’s slogan this year is ‘Create, Connect and Share Respect’ and we’ve kept with this idea for some of the new content this month. ‘Think before you speak’ is a simple and to the point video which asks young people to take a moment and consider what they say to others (whether online or not) and decide if what they are going to say is respectful.

Fake News

Keeping with the theme of computing this month, we’ve created a Primary version of the secondary video ‘Fake News’ to help younger children question what they read online and to bring anything they’re unsure about to an adult.

Our What’s On guides for the Primary channel are available on your content library, for you to download and take a look at if you want to know what’s on this month! Just search ‘whatson’, ‘playing’, or ‘guide’ to find them. You can download the guides here too:

In addition to pre-existing content we have on our screens, schools can also request new content to meet their needs; please don’t hesitate to contact us if there’s something you would like to see!
