Anomaly recently had the pleasure of working with South End to improve their existing digital infrastructure. Like most schools, South End is constantly promoting e-safety at their school – this is when they approached us to see how we could help. After spending the day with our trainer, Tim, South End produced a professional video to promote the subject. The video was scripted, acted and created by the pupils of South End and after tackling this difficult subject in such a creative way, the pupils now have a firm understanding of E-safety. Georgie Lewis, Computer Expert at South End Junior School said: “Tim came for the day and spent it with ten children, who are the digital ambassadors. They independently drafted out a script in their own time together and were ready to start filming on the day with Tim.” On the topic of E-safety, Georgie said: “The message the children were given as a brief for them to then have free reign on what ‘E-Safety’ was and how we could promote it further in our school. Tim was very welcoming and warm towards the children and they were very at ease around him. He explained all the equipment and the timetable of the day to them clearly. We loved our day with him and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for him when we have our next filming day with Anomaly.” Below you will be able to find the video that South End Junior School created. We think it’s brilliant and promotes e-safety in a very positive light.
