In this blog post Anomaly focuses on one of its successful schools, South End Junior School. After recently embracing digital technology at their school, we asked South End Junior School to say a few words regarding the experience with Anomaly. Read their testimonial which highlights their experiences whilst using the Anomaly services. south end junior school Anomaly recently had the pleasure of working with South End to improve their existing digital infrastructure. Like most schools, South End is constantly promoting e-safety at their school – this is when they approached us to see how we could help. After spending the day with our trainer, Tim, South End produced a professional video to promote the subject. The video was scripted, acted and created by the pupils of South End and after tackling this difficult subject in such a creative way, the pupils now have a firm understanding of E-safety. Georgie Lewis, Computer Expert at South End Junior School said: “Tim came for the day and spent it with ten children, who are the digital ambassadors. They independently drafted out a script in their own time together and were ready to start filming on the day with Tim.” On the topic of E-safety, Georgie said: “The message the children were given as a brief for them to then have free reign on what ‘E-Safety’ was and how we could promote it further in our school. Tim was very welcoming and warm towards the children and they were very at ease around him. He explained all the equipment and the timetable of the day to them clearly. We loved our day with him and wouldn’t hesitate to ask for him when we have our next filming day with Anomaly.” Below you will be able to find the video that South End Junior School created. We think it’s brilliant and promotes e-safety in a very positive light. In this blog post read all about the success of two Anomaly schools in our latest blog post. Eastbury Comprehensive School, Essex & Abraham Moss Community School, Manchester. The first of the two Anomaly schools Eastbury Comprehensive School saw recent success as they won a TES Schools Award for “English teacher or team of the year”. The Anomaly school wanted a digital media revamp to their existing infrastructure. This is when Anomaly aided the school by connecting their existing internal screens to allow them to stream their own content wherever necessary. The second of the two Anomaly schools Abraham Moss Community School also saw recent success as they also won a TES Schools Award for “Community and collaboration award”. Much similar to Eastbury Comprehensive School they wanted an alternative to their existing digital media strategy. Anomaly supported them with an upgrade to their Anomaly Content Manager system which allowed the school to upload, manage and broadcast content around the school quickly and easy. Anomaly step up their marketing strategy to gain national recognition! In this blog post Anomaly will be exploring its current and previous marketing strategy. We will also cover Anomaly’s understanding of the need for businesses to make use of digital marketing tools in order to thrive in the modern world. In the previous blog post we talked about revamping our website to make it up to date with current trends and information. In this blog I (Louis) will be talking about joining Anomaly and helping to revamp their marketing strategy. The initial marketing strategy Prior to my arrival at Anomaly, we already had an active audience on all social media platforms, as well as averaging a couple of sessions on the website, but Anomaly deserved to be an established brand. Anomaly had never hired someone for this type of role previously which gave me room to explore my ideas in relation to digital marketing. My initial response was to completely reword all the copy on the website and make it more search engine friendly. Anomaly did not have a company blog, which I was more than happy to start and incorporate all over our website. How could we improve? In my first week at Anomaly, I came up with an initial marketing strategy. The main points that came up were that we needed to make the website responsive on all devices. Next, I went on to have a look at our copy on the website. Although the copy wasn’t bad, it needed more keywords and a clear direction to what it is that Anomaly offered as a company. After studying competitors actions and how they presented their brand, some copy was written for the website. Another area that this led to was to include keyword in the title tags of our website, which has shown great results. I also made sure that all social media links were prominent on each page. This leads me on to our social media, as explained before we already had an active following on Twitter but it was important that the following continued to grow. That’s when we introduced the Anomaly blog which offers news related to Anomaly. This allowed us to give a constant stream of content on all social media pages. The results Anomaly gave me the opportunity to project my ideas to take the business forward and I feel that we have had an amazing response in my first month here. Traffic to our website has improved drastically, our social media pages have improved and hopefully this will lead to national recognition for Anomaly after implementing this marketing strategy.
