As part of our Anomaly customer service, we offer free training on all of our Anomaly technology and follow up courtesy calls to check your school is happy with everything. One such happy school is William Law CE Primary School in Werrington, Peterborough. logo

Anomaly has had the pleasure of working with William Law CE Primary School to constantly improve their existing digital infrastructure and help promote the school’s aims – to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.

We recently visited the school to do a training session on their Anomaly Film kit, a portable green screen and filming kit for schools. After the training session, Tracy Mayhead said, “The training from Anomaly last month was excellent. The children loved it. They have been able to continue putting the training to good use and will be passing on their knowledge to some of our Year 5’s in the next couple of weeks.”

As a result of Anomaly Film and the training session, the Year 6 pupils managed to film and edit their own film, ‘Building for the Future’! We love to hear how you’re getting on with your Anomaly equipment! Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to be featured, or alternatively phone the office for further training or information.

In this blog post we will be looking at the new Anomaly website. Over the past month or so, things have been falling into place for Anomaly, thus forcing us to revamp our current website. Previously the Anomaly website was gaining a steady stream of hits, but as the company grew, we thrived for better results. That’s when we started to rethink our approach to the company website. What we were already doing Anomaly already had a strong web presence and social media following, but as we grew, we knew this needed to be better. The first step was to analyse where we were at currently and how we could be better. We took pride on the fact Anomaly had just over 400 followers at the start of last month as well as a steady stream of traffic to our website, this is when we thought about what we could do differently. The plan The plan was to revamp the Anomaly website so it was up to date with Anomaly related content, this included updating any out of date pages and launching the company blog. We quickly began researching our current audience and current trends related to the business and began writing tailored content to suit our audience. This included a rewrite of the copy on the Anomaly website so it was more user friendly and optimised for SEO. We also planned to update our team page so that users can get a better feel for the people they talk to when working with Anomaly. The execution  Once everything was planned, it was time for the execution. Firstly we included more keywords and relevant information in the hope that we would bring more traffic to the Anomaly website. We then launched our company blog, providing users with a constant stream of Anomaly content, related to the services that we provide as well as news about what’s going on within the business. We also took an alternate approach to our social media which has proved to be successful. We’ve earned just short of 1000 followers on Twitter as well as a vast improvement on engagement and impressions on our Facebook page. We’re still not finished revamping the Anomaly website, behind the scenes we’re currently revamping our team page so users can have an up to date list of the members of team Anomaly.
