In this blog post, find out what will be displayed on our screens both in Primary and Secondary schools throughout May, as we’re in the throes of revision and exams. SATs Stress Playing only in Primary schools, this video aims to ease any exam stress that pupils may be feeling. A recent report found that 8/10 school leaders say that fear of academic failure has lead to an increase in mental health issues around exam time. This video takes a look at simple ways to revise to ease any pre-exam nerves, encourages young people to do things they enjoy to avoid getting stressed and to talk to an adult if they are feeling any pressure. SATs Sleep In May, we have a version of this playing on both Primary and Secondary channels, to cater for the fact younger children need more sleep than teenagers. These videos have been made to show during the exam/revision period so that young people understand the importance of sleep and how lack of sleep can affect their mental health and well being. The videos also offer tips of how to get prepared for bed and make the most out of a full nights rest!
