BAM Nuttall Ltd improves on-site communication with Anomaly Visual’s solar-powered digital signage systems. The fully “off grid” Anomaly screens are used at Clifton Ings Flood Alleviation Scheme in York. An eco-friendly solution to communicate with workers and visitors on site.

The project aims to provide better protection for the community in Lower Bootham by improving the flood defences. BAM Nuttall are carrying out work to raise embankments, raise the height of flood walls and reduce the visual impact of flood walls to maintain views and natural light for the properties.

While BAM Nuttall work to protect the local community and environment, Anomaly’s green solar-powered signage helps to protect their work force. Delivering crucial health and safety information to site, independent of any external power or data source.

Two outdoor Anomaly displays are situated outside the site office and the welfare pod. The screens show health and safety reminders, PPE requirements, induction information, and also promote staff wellbeing with mental wellbeing videos.

Management can broadcast messages to multiple screens instantly via Anomaly’s web-based software.

Anomaly’s 12-volt fully “off-grid” system consumes less than 100 watts and can easily be relocated within minutes. An environmentally friendly digital alternative to conventional signage, keeping workers, visitors and general public safe and informed. Raise health and safety awareness, share best practice and provide project updates quickly and easily.
